New Year’s Day Quarter Moon in Twilight

This is the first quarter Moon, taken Jan 1, 2012, in evening twilight. This was shot with the Synta Sky-Watcher Esprit 120 apo refractor (under test) at f/7 and the Canon 7D camera at ISO 100 with no field flattener.
