Venus over Morant’s Curve, Banff #3 (with Train)

A moonlit nightscape shot from February 2012, with a gibbous Moon providing illumination over the Bow River and Morant’s Curve in Banff. Venus is the bright obect over the Lake Louise range mountains. A 30-second exposure at f/2.8 and ISO 400 with the Canon 5D MkII and Canon L-series 24mm lens. This version is with the back of the train going through the scene leaving a trail of light round the curve of the railway.
