The Sun on March 10, 2012, with active region #1429 prominent. This area was responsible for several M and X-class solar flares this week. This was taken with the 130mm Astro-Physics refractor at f/6 and Canon 7D camera at ISO 100. Taken thru a Baader white light solar filter. Colouration added in Photoshop.
