This is a single exposure of the May 20, 2012 partial solar eclipse, with the Sun viewed through a dense solar filter and the rest of the scene unfiltered. Processing in Photoshop helps bring out the details in the clouds and bright sky, and in the dark filtered image. This was taken at the Partial Eclipse Party at TELUS Spark science centre in Calgary, Alberta, with a Canon 7D and 28-105mm lens.
