Autumn Constellations over Mountain Road

The northern autumn constellations of Andromeda, Cassiopeia, Perseus, and Pegasus rising over roadway in Banff National Park, Alberta. Taken July 29, 2012 with Canon 5D MkII and 16-35mm lens for 48s at f/4 and ISO 800. Moonlight from waxing gibbous Moon (off camera) provides the illumination. A faint aurora is at left. Taken from the meadows near Johnson Lake turnoff on Lake Minnewanka lopp road.
