The Full Moon of August 31, 2012 (which was a “Blue Moon” — i.e. the second Full Moon of the month) rising over a harvested field, with windmills of the Wintering Hill wind farm. The pink Belt of Venus band is visible above the blue band above the horizon that is Earth’s shadow. This is a 6-exposure HDR stack taken with the Canon 7D at ISO 100 and 16-35mm lens.
