Supermoon Rise over Floodwaters of Bow River #2 (June 23, 2013)

The Full Moon rise of June 23, 2013 on the evening of the perigee Full Moon, the closest Full Moon of 2013 and the so-called Supermoon. It is rising over the floodwaters of the Bow River during a record flood that inundated many parts of southern Alberta around rivers, including here on the Siksika First Nations reserve. Taken with the 18-200mm lens with the Canon 20Da. Exposure metered.
