The Prince of Wales Hotel at Waterton Lakes National Park on its promontory overlooking the lakes, and townsite. Taken from Driftwood Beach looking toward the summer Milky Way, August 30, 2013, using the 24mm lens at f/2.5 and Canon 5D MkII at ISO 2000 for 30 seconds. The yellow glow on the clouds is from the mostly unshielded sodium vapour streetlights in the town. I lit the foreground driftwood with an LED flashlight.
