Jupiter at lower left in Gemini rising with Orion (at right) and the winter constellations of Auriga (upper left) and Taurus (upper centre) as seen from the Painted Pony Resort, New Mexico, December 4, 2013. This is a stack of 4 x 2.5 minute exposures at f/2.8 with the 24mm lens and Canon 5D MkII camera at ISO 1600. Some cloud and haze was in the sky, fuzzing the stars naturally. No filters employed here.
