The waning crescent Moon below Venus, rising in the east on June 24, 2014 as seen from home over the flat prairie horizon of southern Alberta. Mist in the valley creates the blue-grey band below. This is a single 0.6 sec exposure at f/4 with the 200mm lens and Canon 60Da at ISO 800.
