The rising “super moon” of July 12, 2014, rising above a canola field near home in southern Alberta. The Moon is in the blue of Earth’s shadow and below the pink Belt of Venus band.
This is a single exposure and frame from a 500-frame time lapse of the Moon rising. This is with the Canon 60Da and 135mm telephoto lens. The Moon has not been pasted into the sky!
