Pleiades star cluster rising down the road on the summit of Mt Kobau, near Osoyoos, BC. Capella is at left; Perseus at top. Taken during the Mt. Kobau Star Party, July 28, 2014. This is a composite of two exposures of the same scene: a short 40-second exposure for the sky and a long 1m40s exposure for the ground, masked and refined with the Refine Edge command of Photoshop. Both taken with the 24mm lens at f/2.5 and Canon 6D at ISO 3200.
