The aurora on the night of February 20, 2015 from Churchill Manitoba from the Churchill Northern Studies Centre. The view is looking west an dup at the second floor Viewing Deck. The temperature was -32° C with a windchill of -50 or so. The aurora brightened about 9:30 pm local time for a while then faded into dim arcs and patchiness by 11 pm. Everyone had a good time shooting selfies with the aurora as a background. I shot with the Canon 6D and 24mm lens, at exposures from 8 to 15 seconds at f/2.8 and ISO 3200 to 4000.
