This is a full-frame fish-eye lens shot of the Milky Way from horizon to horizon, taken May 6, 2011 from Atacama Lodge, San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. It was taken pre-dawn about 5 am local time when the centre of the Galaxy was overhead. It is a stack of 4 x 3 minute exposures at f/2.8 and ISO 1250 with the Canon 5D MkII and Canon 15mm lens.
