High Contrast Gibbous Moon (June 12, 2011)

The 10-day-old waxing gibbous Moon, on June 12, 2011, photographed through 130mm f/6 AP apo refractor with 2x Barlow for effective 1600mm focal length, and Canon 7D at ISO 100 for 1/40th second. Processed for high contrast to bring out the colour differences in the mare areas.
