A circumpolar star trail shot, with an old farm shed as the landscape focus. Taken July 14, 2011 at an old farmstead near home in southern Alberta. This is a stack of 660 17-second exposures, 1s apart, taken with the Canon 5D MkII at ISO 800 and 8mm lens at f/4.5, taken over 3.5 hours from 11:15 pm to 2:42 am. Light from Full Moon (off frame at top) illuminated the landscape and made the sky blue. Images stacked the Chris Schur’s Photoshop Action.
