The northern stars over Waterton Hotel, at Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, taken July 20, 2011. This is one frame of 400+ taken for a time-lapse movie sequence. This is a single 33-second exposure at f/5 with the Canon 10-22mm lens at 13mm, and Canon 7D camera at ISO 1250. It was taken with deep twilight still present but before moonrise. Cassiopeia is at right, the Pointer stars of the Big Dipper at left, and Polaris at centre top.
