M(5 and M96 in Leo

M95 and M96, a pair of barred spiral galaxies in Leo. Taken April 09, 2012, with Supernova SN 2012 aw shining in M95 (at right), as star at 5 oclock in outer spiral arm. This was taken with the 130mm Astro-Physics refractor at f/6 with no field flattener, with the Canon 7D at ISO 800 for a stack of 6 x 8 minute exposure. Processed with ACR 7 and Photoshop CS6 trial.
