Mars and Spica above Red Rock Coulee

Mars and Spica (the pair of stars at centre, with Mars above) together in conjunction July 11, 2014 above the sandstone concretions of Red Rock Coulee Natural Area in southern Alberta. Saturn is to the uppe left. This is a single 15 second exposure at f/4.5 and ISO 800 with the Canon 60Da and 10-22mm lens. Illumination is from the Full Moon off frame at left.
